Douglas Brimhall - Design Services Manager
Douglas Brimhall joined the Ensemble team in November 2006, bringing more than 16 years of diverse experiences in the world of architecture. Holding a Masters degree from Arizona State University, and registered as an Architect in Arizona since 1995, Doug has worked on many project types, including institutional, commercial, residential, religious, and healthcare. At Ensemble, Doug is broadly responsible for all pre-construction design, project scope, permitting, estimating and bidding for all projects, including establishing and maintaining the high Ensemble standard of quality. Doug's professional experience includes entitlement, design, project management, construction documentation, and contract administration. He has been fortunate to work with great people and on award-winning projects. Genetically, Doug comes from a long line of teachers and educators, and was fortunate to continue that tradition by teaching design studios in the ASU College of Design. One of his proud accomplishments was creating and directing a three-week summer career discovery program at ASU, where high school students came and lived on-campus and participated in design lectures, studios and field trips. When he's not at the office, Doug enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids. In the tradition of another architect, Thomas Jefferson, the Brimhall home is constantly in a state of home improvement and building modification. He, and especially his family, look forward to the day when all of the home improvement projects achieve a final state of completion.
